Qi Gong

Qi Gong is viewed as a practice to cultivate and
balance Qi (chi) or what has been translated as
"intrinsic life energy".  Typically Qi Gong involves
rhythmic breathing coordinated with slow stylized
repetition of fluid movement, while in a calm
mindful state, and visualization of guiding
Qi through the body.
Qi Gong is believed to help develop human
potential, allow access to higher realms of
awareness, and awaken your "true nature".

Eight Section Brocade Qi Gong

The Eight Section Brocade Qi Gong is one of the

most common forms of Chinese Qi Gong used as

exercise. The name of the form generally refers

to how the eight individual movements of the

form characterize and impart a silken quality

(like that of a piece of brocade) to the body

and its energy. The Eight Section Brocade

is primarily designated as a form of medical

Qi Gong, meant to improve health.
